Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful Moms!! 

We want to wish all of the new moms, experienced moms, soon to be moms, moms who are still waiting their turn, stepmoms, adopted moms, tired moms, and all the moms who wish they could just have a moment of peace to go to the bathroom alone, a very wonderful and hopefully relaxing day! Let's be honest, being a mom is tough work. We are never off the clock, and someone always needs us for something. We want you to know we see you!  all of you are very special and that rest day will soon come!

One thing we moms tend to avoid is getting in the picture! We challenge you to start taking more pictures of not only you with your kiddos but of yourself. Don't worry about always looking your best or what you're wearing. Give your kiddos something to look back on and the special moments you are now creating. When our children are grown up, they are going to want to look back during their childhood and see their mother and what she was like at that moment in life. It's so easy for us Moms to just take the photo or not want to get in the photo because we easily become self-conscious of ourselves. We tend to not take as good care of ourselves as we did before children because our children are our number one priority. Here's the thing, that's what are kids are going to remember and look back on. They don't care what we look like, they just know how much you loved and cared for them and want to remember special moments caught on camera of you together! Taking a picture doesn't have to always be for a special event or occasion either. Just take a photo just because and in the moment. 

But if you're like us and love a good excuse to get dressed up and take beautiful professional photos with your babies, come visit us during Downtown Monument's Art Hop this year! Every third Thursday of the month, May-September from 5pm-8pm, we will have a special setup in the studio for quick mini sessions. This is a great way to capture a quick stress-free professional portrait of you and your kids together, or the entire family (fur-babies welcome too!). We will be offering single portraits or a package of 5 for a very affordable price and donating 20% of the proceeds to Tri-Lakes Cares!  Afterwards you can check out the other fun shops around the downtown Monument area. 

This month's theme is Spring has Sprung so we will have a cute little floral portrait setup.  Which would make for a perfect Mother's Day gift!  Walk-ins are welcome but if you'd like to book early for a Mother's Day gift, click the link below to sign up!
