Handmade Canvas

When the time comes for you to decide how you'd like to display your portraits in your home, the number of options can be overwhelming.  There are a lot of factors to consider before making your decision.  For this post, I'm going to go over the many reasons why our gallery wrapped canvas portraits are an excellent choice!  One of the top reasons to choose a canvas is style. Canvas is a very classic, timeless style that will always look fantastic for many years to come.  Whether you move, redecorate, or remodel, canvas will always look great in any space. 

Over the years I've purchased canvas portraits from quite a few different print labs before finding one that I am 100% confident in the quality and durability.  Unlike the modern canvas method of printing directly onto a thin canvas material that is run through a printer, this company uses the old fashioned strip and bond method to create stunning handmade artwork.  This allows them to use a much thicker canvas material and frame, making it significantly more durable than the modern canvas.  As part of the handmade process, they smooth out the texture where faces will go and hand paint acrylic brushstrokes, contouring the image and giving it a beautiful painting look. If you are looking for something that will stand up to anything life throws at it, our canvas portraits are by far the most durable option.  Unlike other wall portraits, they are easily cleaned with Windex.  One of my biggest frustrations with canvas orders I've purchased previously, is that the edges are easily scratched and dented while moving them, or wiping/dusting them.  Due to the outstanding craftsmanship of our the handmade canvas portraits, scratches and dents are nothing to worry about.  They are even shipped in a wooden crate to ensure they are in excellent condition when they arrive.  Check out the spaghetti test video posted below to see just how easy cleaning a handmade canvas is!
