Custom Styling Guides

Did you know Puddles & Pearls Photography now offers custom styling guides for each session?!?! The one question we get asked most often is, what do you recommend we wear?  We've put out a few blog posts on the topic previously, but this year we are kicking it up a notch with custom styling guides!

What exactly does that entail?  I'm glad you asked!  While getting to know your family a little bit through our initial consult and your questionnaire, we'll gather information such as your style preferences, home decor, what you are planning to do with your finished portraits, and a few details about your family.  In other words, we can do a much better job capturing your family's story if we know a little bit about your family's story!  We'll pull inspiration from your home decor so your finished pieces will not only perfectly reflect your family's personality, but they will also fit seamlessly into any space you decide to display them! 

Once we've gathered all of that information, we'll put together a styling guide that includes our professional recommendations for location, color schemes, and wardrobe.  Our team does a great job of keeping up with current styling trends and where to find the best clothing pieces for any budget!  We'll curate a complete wardrobe suggestion guide for each member of the family to include links for where you can find the exact items on the guide, and where to browse if you'd like to see more than just the pieces we selected.  We also have a growing collection of wardrobe in our studio's client closet as well that we can add to your suggestions list! 

You can use this guide any way you would like.  Whether you decide to purchase clothes from the vendors on the list, or simply use it as design inspiration to find your own items or pull from your own closet, we are always happy to help!
